202: Data Analyst

Our client, a very cool company in banking and finance, is looking for a mid-level Data Analyst to work with their Business Intelligence and Strategy team to help drive business decisions with data. Because this company is increasingly reliant on analytics, your efforts will directly affect its success. THE WORK:  The Data Analyst will work on multiple aspects of data projects, including creating workflows, reports, and visualizations.  This role requires creativity with a high attention to detail, and drive for data accuracy. A strong collaborative instinct is a must, as you will be working closely with other team members as well as occasionally assisting other groups. 

LOCATION:  Silicon Valley in the country! You’ll be working in a beautiful headquarters in Brighton, Michigan. Brighton is a centrally-located town that’s also only 20 minutes from Ann Arbor (home to the University of Michigan), 30 minutes from Lansing (home to Michigan State University), and 50 minutes from Detroit, a rapidly evolving technology hub.

The company recently built its new headquarters building around open workspaces and the latest technologies. In terms of location, this job has it all: a beautiful work environment, access to major metropolitan centers, and the ability to easily get back to nature when you want.

This client operates with a hybrid work environment - several days a week on-site and the freedom to work from home for the rest. 

MODE: This is a permanent position.

REQUIRED: Applicants must be very strong in the following skills: 

• SQL

• Visualization tool (Power BI preferred)

• ETL (Alteryx preferred)

• Python or R

DESIRED: In addition, it would be great if you had some background in: 

• SQL Server DBA Experience

• Oracle

• Finance industry experience  

COMPENSATION: $75-85K/yr, plus a generous benefits package that includes five weeks of vacation per year!
